An Instrumental Start: A Model for the Nation

An Instrumental Start: A Model for the Nation will be presented April 10, 2026, at the Historic Olympia Theater in downtown Miami as part of the Miami Film Festival. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the film beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a Q&A with the directors, along with a reception and red carpet experience. This VIP world premiere highlights the impact of educators in underserved communities. Tickets are $12 plus fees with promo code DAHCAC.

Revelations In Rhythm will be presented May 15, 2026, at the Marshall L. Davis Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center. This dynamic performance honors the legacy of tap dance legends, featuring a special tribute to Bill “Bojangles” Robinson. Rooted in the sacred traditions and music created by Black individuals during enslavement, the production highlights tap as both a powerful art form and an expression of spiritual praise. Tickets are $25.
