Voices of Heritage Vocal Ensemble
Isis C. Roberts, Director
The Voices of Heritage (VOH) provides a platform where students ages 9-16 have an opportunity to establish themselves as vocal artists. VOH has trained in all genres of music including Classical, Jazz, R&B, Folk & Ethnic, and Gospel with a special emphasis on music theory and stage presence. VOH prides itself on preparing young vocalists for a professional career in music. Dedicated students leave with a versatile repertoire, ready to compete with the world.
VOH has recorded singles, performed at the Miami Open, the Super Bowl Concert, and for various social and religious organizations throughout the tri-county area. They have also performed for the cast of Africa Umoja the Spirit of Togetherness, African nobility, and for celebrities such as P. Diddy.
The Voices of Heritage strives to develop members’ musical repertoire while enhancing their music knowledge through theory and application. Young vocalists can be invited to join VOH or audition.
