The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center presents Queens and the City, a fashion show featuring garment and jewelry designs created by local designers. Produced by Only L Boutique, the show will feature unique art and fashion installations, performances, vendors, music, and photo opportunities. Queens and the City will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center’s Wendell A. Narcisse Performing Arts Theater.
Only L Boutique is led by designer Le’Adonis Ferguson. Ferguson, a Florida A&M University graduate, founded Only L Boutique in 2015 to share his passion for jewelry making and custom fashion. His designs have been featured in “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” and have been gifted to celebrities including Rihanna and Tiffany Haddish. Previously titled “Allure Jewelry and Fashion Experience,” Queens and the City is Ferguson’s 6th annual fashion show. Queens and the City aims to celebrate Only L Boutique’s wearable art, inclusivity in the fashion industry, and the talents of local fashion designers.
